How Mojave is inherited
Mojave is co-dominant: one copy produces a visual Mojave, and two copies produce the Super Mojave. Breeding a Mojave to a normal gives about 50% Mojave babies.
New to these terms? See the genetics glossary.
Mojave is allelic with Butter, Lesser, Mystic, Phantom, Russo: they sit at the same spot on the chromosome, so an animal can carry at most two of them, and pairing them produces combination morphs.
