How Candy is inherited
Candy is recessive: a ball python needs two copies to show it. Animals with one copy look normal but are "het Candy" and pass the gene to about half their babies.

Candy is allelic with Albino, Ultramel: they sit at the same spot on the chromosome, so an animal can carry at most two of them, and pairing them produces combination morphs.
Allelic to Albino; Candy x Albino gives "Candino".
